This museum is dedicated to two things: the history of the military on Fort Irwin from 1844 to the present day, and the history of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment from 1901 to the present. Learn about space exploration and see the future of manned and unmanned flight and space travel. They offer both permanent and temporary exhibits of many different kinds, including a Jose G. Ramos exhibit that is relatively new. There is an admission fee to enter, and it also offers a fine gift shop. You can currently only tour or visit the museum by appointment.
